This is a kick-ass utility for doing sweeping file renames. It's incredibly powerful, mainly due to heavy reliance on regular expressions to do everything. You can also rename files based on ID3 tags. It's free -- enjoy.
Amazing suite of tools for file and folder manipulation on Windows. The main draw of this suite for me is that it has support for something like four differnet regular expression engines. I needed PCRE's negative look-ahead assertions, and this gave it to me. Very slick. It will cost you a bit of cash, but has a free trial period.
